FAQ

Questions beta users ask first.

Axiom is a packaging, onboarding, safety, and workflow layer around Hermes Agent. The first beta is intentionally narrow.

Is Axiom Hermes?

No. Axiom packages Hermes Agent into a private worker appliance experience. It clearly credits Hermes and does not imply official affiliation.

Is Axiom just a vibe-coded OpenClaw box?

No. Axiom is Hermes-first. OpenClaw compatibility can be supported where it helps buyers, but the product is positioned around supervised recurring work, local control, and inspectable automation.

Does it run fully local?

Some workflows can use local models. The first beta also supports cloud or hybrid model routes because reliability matters more than pretending every task is local-only.

Do I need a paid AI account?

No for the local smoke-test route: Axiom can point Hermes at Ollama on the device. Stronger cloud models, search, image, messaging, and fallback routes still need your own accounts or keys.

What data leaves the device?

Only data sent to configured model providers or connectors. The beta shows model route decisions and connected accounts clearly before each workflow runs.

Can it send messages?

Yes, but not silently by default. External sends and contact actions require approval in the first beta.

What is refundable?

Beta deposits are refundable until the beta slot is fulfilled. Hardware purchases are refundable pre-orders until your unit is confirmed.

Who is this for?

Operators, founders, developers, and small teams with recurring work they can describe, inspect, and improve over time.

How will I pay?

Right now orders are confirmed by email with a secure payment link. Card checkout via Stripe (and Borica for Bulgarian cards) is on the roadmap.
